How do I take measurements from more than one sensor at the same time?
With InstantVR you can use multiple sensors simultaneously to improve body tracking. In this demo I show a combine setup with Oculus Rift, Razer Hydra, Leap Motion and Microsoft Kinect 2. The best tracking sensor is used for each body part. Sensors can be disabled for specific bodyparts and the priority between body parts can be changed. From InstantVR 3.2, the calibration implementation is greatly improved such that calibration during gameplay is no longer necessary. Medical sensors can be used to diagnose lung cancers or melanomas. The ability to detect leakage of toxic and inflammable gases in various environments is also desirable. MEMS cantilever based sensors have the potential to fill this need. This technology provides a highly sensitive readout solution. There is no need to electrically actuate the cantilever. This opens up the potential for optical sensing which will be of particular use for sensors in hazardous environments such as explosive gas sensing for pipelines and mine sites or aircraft applications where RF interference must be minimized.

A walkthrough for programming the Lego Mindstorms NXT Humanoid robot to use several sensors at the same time. A great beginner program to try for rookies or make your own challenge.
